Mission
I have worked with young people throughout my professional teaching career, both as a university professor and high school teacher. Secondary students need encouragement and insights to challenge themselves to exceed the requirements of curriculum; to help prepare them for life and to make the most of the resources and opportunities available to them. This is my role as an International college consultant.
Most students do not adequately prepare for the rigors of an academically challenging environment beyond high school and they do not realize that this preparation and discipline needs to be cultivated as early as possible…even before high school. As a coach and mentor, I know firsthand the reward of helping young people discover their talents and abilities-and to focus on goals that truly matter.
Preparation for the right college or university requires more than test scores or grades. Schools have become more selective in an effort to create a diverse population of students from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and financial standing. They seek intellectual curiosity, life goals, tenacity, evidence of personal growth and excellence. Students are expected to demonstrate strength of character, qualities of leadership, a commitment to their community and an enthusiasm for learning with their peers. My mission is to help students develop their fullest potential, and choose the best program of study that will complement their strengths and interests.
